Every year the most vulnerable in our community, the homeless who are hungry and cold are desperately in need of help. The Gina Lee Fuentez Show on Kiss 97.3 is teaming up with HopeWorks to make a difference in these people’s lives. HopeWorks meets the physical, mental health, employment, and housing needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas.

Hope Works is asking for help with the following items that are needed for them to help those who are in need:
Clean Warm items (winter coats, jackets, sweaters/sweatshirts, underwear, long pants, hats, gloves, socks, blankets and sleeping bags etc.)
Clean Backpacks and duffle bags

Please consider dropping off some of these items at 1120 2nd Street NW M-F from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (map below)

Hope Works provides:
•Day Shelter and Basic Needs: Provides food, clothing, storage, showers, mail, IDs, and other resources for over 8,000 individuals/year.
•Outreach: Encounters over 1,300 individuals living on the streets, tunnels, tents, and alleyways, providing information, basic needs care, and resources.
•Housing: Permanently houses over 450 people a year.
•Behavioral/Mental Health: Provides intensive case management, coordinating medical, housing, psychiatric services, and medication management, for over 800 individuals.
•Employment: Fields thousands of requests for jobs and helps over 300 people work a year.
