"Music is my life"
Robb Royale, a/k/a Big Worm, has been into music for as long as he can remember. "When I was a kid, I remember listening to 45's and albums on my parent's console system. My mom had a bunch of albums from James Brown, The Platters, Marvin Gaye, Bobby "Blue" Bland and more. We would listen to them on Sunday evenings.That's where my love for music began."
"When I got older, My sister and I along with our friends would save up money and go up to the malls to buy music. I would also record music from the radio stations back then."
It wasn't until 1990 that he put his love for music to use. "I took the radio broadcasting course with a friend of mine over at KANW that they used to offer. After I graduated, I had a Monday night shift there and I started my career there with the 'Urban Express'. After that, I went over to KISS FM and started over there". Since then, Rob has worked for KKIM, KRST, KDNR (which later became KYLZ a/k/a Wild 106, where he became a PD), KOB FM, KABQ (104.1Mega FM), KSYU (Hot 95.1) and most recently, back at KISS FM.
"It was during my early day at Kiss that I started learning how to mix. My first club gig was over at Shaker's out on the West Side. After that, they just came coming along!"
Hot Rocks, Shaker's in Santa Fe, Tumbleweed's, Inferno's, Midnight Rodeo/Gotham, Cowboys, Club Phoenix, Park Place, The G Spot, Ned's on the Rio Grande, Ned's Downtown, Inbibe, Rally's, KXX Nightclub and now I'm down at One Up every Saturday night."

DJ Chil
DJ Chil is a lifer, in it for the long haul. Known for playing virtually every rhythm an audience can ride, Chil dials in on his audience and then plays the room. “You always play the room. Every time. Unless it’s a pool party. Then you’re not in a room. But you still play the room.”
Ryan Chilson was a middle school hip-hopper, High School Bedroom DJ, College Campus Crusher and is now and an undoubtedly successful club and radio disc jockey living in Albuquerque, NM. You can find him staying busy with his three weekly club residencies, a weekly mixshow on Kiss 97.3’s “5:00 Bump in The Trunk” as well as a whole slew of editing, remixing and independent producing.
